The Saga between Samklef and Wizkid.....!

Yesterday, news broke out that Music producer and recording artiste, Samuel Ogwuachuba popularly known as ‘Samklef’ had officially parted ways with Ayodeji Balogun ‘Wizkid.

An embittered Samklef revealed that he was pissed off with Wizkid for letting his fame come in between their ten years relationship.

Reacting to the report, however, Wizkid via twitter said “In Life you meet some people you love as much as you love your blood..I have nothing but Love for Samklef. I have nothing to say about the mean things he said about me…(he was just in my house 2weeks ago) wow..U learn everyday. I pray God continues to bless him and his family. Amen. Jah Bless.”

We dug to work and found that the two artistes have not worked together on any song in the past two years – in case you didn’t know, Samklef produced majority of the songs on Wizkid’s debut album including Don’t Dull & Tease Me.

Below, Samklef reveales how Wizkid betrayed  and back-stabbed him:

How we started:

‘I produced six of his songs for him for free because I wanted fame. I made no money from him on the songs, I was only given N250k reward, I didn’t complain cos I saw him as a bro and wanted the best for him…God so good the songs shot him into limelight, and he’s now withdrawing”

How we grew cold:

I have been loyal to him but he hasn’t. He did not keep to his part of the pledge by not supporting me because he has been posting me on that part. The worst part is that he is publicly bashing my talent and spoiling my business, telling an OAP that my beats which shot him into limelight are amateur, who does that, how can he be spoiling my name when i have done nothing wrong to him!’

When I first heard the story, I sent him a message asking why he would say that but he ignored it and started posting me here and there on the issue.

Not At Loggerheads:

“I wish him well and I like his music, in short I’m rooting for and loving his new track Ojuelegba. It is my favorite track right now but he should stop treating me like some trash.  I visit him regularly, even when he doesn’t invite me, that’s to show you how loyal I am.  I even visited him two weeks ago, yes i did and that was to get him to feature in one of my songs, I wanted to see him in person cos he’s been posting me and ignoring my text messages, fame has gotten into his head….he should stop posting me.”

A Future reconciliation:

“If Wizkid should approach me now to produce any of his songs, it’s going to be strictly business this time, it’ll no longer be for free. I don’t want him in my life…I’m doing fine without him, we all want to make money so he should stop bad mouthing my work please. ”

Other grudges:

“Yes, I’m not the only one complaining, other producers are complaining, so many artistes are complaining but I wouldn’t mention their names. ”

Wizkid will be having a media briefing today on the issue, his manager Seun Jonathan told us when contacted.

...And on twitter, today, SamKlef continues:

Looks like he wants to auction Wizkid's instrumental (for the songs he was involved in) to anyone interested...lol. Samklef said in an interview yesterday that even though he doesn't regret working with Wizkid's talent, he regrets working with his person. Wizkid has since shown him love on Twitter but it seems Samklef isn't playing that ball of 'one love' anymore....
