Kate Henshaw, Mocheddah, Olu Jacobs,Ruby Gyang, Jide Kosoko and others, attend stage play of "The Wives"


The best of Nigerian society came out to watch what some are calling the theatre production of the year, 'The Wives'. The  performance which held on Saturday, 11 October at the Agip Recital Hall of Muson Centre, Onikan Lagos wrapped up a 3-day festival of brilliant stagecraft.

Guests at the performance include Minister for communication technology Omobola Johnson, CEO Standard Chartered Bank Bola Adesola, Chief Executive of WIMBIMZ Osayi Alile, Rita Dominic, Olu Jacobs, Patrick Doyle, Tunde Kelani, Aduke Gomez, Wana Udobang, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Noble Igwe, Emmanuel Babayaro, Osas Ighodaro, Shade Ladipo, Subomi Plumptre, Mo Cheddah, amongst others.
The play, written by Professor Ahmed Yerima was brought to life by iconic actors including Joke Silva, Jide Kosoko, Iretiola Doyle, Kate Henshaw andLala Akindoju, there were guest appearances by Toyin Oshinaike, and Adebola Williams.
The audience also enjoyed a performance by multi-talented singer, songwriter and music producer Cobhams Asuquo. The show was anchored by award winning actor, OC Ukeje


The Wives was produced by The Make it Happen Productions and supported byAfrica Magic, BellaNaija, YNaija, 360nobs, Life House, Red Communicationand Terra Kulture.
