D'Banj's visual EP album set for release in September...

Official press statement from Dbanj’s publicity team as he puts out his album Tracklist and cover art.....
D’Banj the Koko Master is arguably one of the most prolific music makers in Nigeria this year. Considering the not so distant past where many fans and critics have voiced out their feelings of his music being under par, 2015 has seen a vast upgrade as he has begun to assemble hits after hits. D’Banj began his 2015 campaign promoting his hit single “Feeling the Nigga” which was followed up with the remix featuring international superstar Akon, this saw to the beginning of a new era and also the return of the D’Banj we all fell in love with as he began to dominate all the major music charts for an extended period.

Following up to his rise from the ashes, D’Banj made announcement of a first of its kind project. He informed the public of his intention to release a visual EP which would consist of 7 videos that would be released weekly, due to the nature of this project there were many reservations on whether such a project could be pulled off. Four weeks into the project D’Banj has released 3 videos currently receiving a lot of buzz; Knocking on my Door which sees D’Banj return to playing the harmonica has raked half a million views on YouTube in barely 3 weeks, “The King is Here” rap competition has received over 8 thousand entries and finalists are currently being shortlisted also Salute and Confidential which features another side of Hollywood Superstar Idris Elba are making headlines.    D’Banj has been forced to move the release of the Visual EP ahead one week as the winner of “The King is Here” rap competition will feature in the video of “The King is Here” which will most probably be the video that unveils the Visual EP is yet to be unveiled. D’Banj has definitely returned to the top of the pecking order. As D’Banj continues to pull a feat only done by BeyoncĂ© with his Visual EP, he becomes the first African to embark on such a project, A big enough heat to announce #TheKingIsHere..

  • Michael Adegbola Adams (born September 17, 1993), known better as Good Money, is a Nigerian American recording artist, performer and song writer and co-founder of MBM Records along with his elder brother Joseph Adedayo Adams Jr.
  • Born in Staten Island, New York; Good Money grew up listening to and was inspired by the likes of Michael Jackson, Jay-z, Aaliyah, Lil Wayne, Akon, MoHits and P Square just to name a few.
  • He began singing in his school chorus at the age of 9, which he said "is an experience that stuck with him for life" and had the opportunity to perform in numerous showcases in front of different types of audiences. Ever since, music has been his “passion worth dying for” as he would say.
  • He has also lived/schooled in Nigeria and London which he says has given him "a brand new perspective towards life”.
  • He started recording in his early teenage years and formed a local group called “Grizzly" with his school friends in London when he was aspiring to be a rapper.

Good Money's new single S.A.Y.L offers a unique sound and equal measures of indulgence and ability. Its upbeat production clashes with the sweet hooks, matched veraciously by the high pitched vocal delivery soothing the underlying theme of love.

This will bring a more versatile approach towards the african music culture globally.

"Personally" video by P-Square hits the 50 million views mark on @youtube

Around November last year, dynamic duo ,P Square' hit the 30 million views on Youtube with their musical video, this made them the first Nigerian acts to pull that stunt.

However, the brothers are working harder this year as they have broken their earlier 30 million views record again. With their “Personally” video hitting 50 million views on Youtube, it’s pretty obvious the duo are not joking around.

While music videos from Nigerian artistes like Olamide’s ‘Eleda Mi’ and Mavins ‘Dorobucci’ and others have just hit a little above the 1m mark, Psquare is so far ahead of the game. The video was shot and directed by Jude Engees Okoye and it was a song done to honour the memory of the late king of Pop and idol of the twins, Michael Jackson who passed on at the age of 51 on June 25, 2009.

Kudos Guys!
