WIzkid says Seyi Shay lied about his 'One Dance' song with Drake!
Seyi Shay, Nigerian Afro-pop singer, has alleged that the hit single, ‘One Dance’ actually belongs to Wizkid and not Canadian superstar, Drake.
Drake released ‘One Dance’ featuring Wizkid and Kyla in April 2016 and it rapidly became a number one hit song globally and was on several charts across the world.
Seyi Shay, while she was in the United States, revealed to @iamdjakademiks on his show On Stage, that Wizkid owns the song and only gave it to Drake whom then stripped the song off its Afro-beat rhythm.
However, Wizkid has denied the claims made by his compatriot, Seyi Shay about ‘One Dance’ In the interview with DJ Akademiks as he took to his Twitter to state that “she lied”!
The Starboy CEO also advised his former collaborator and friend to “shut up” and stop speaking on what she knows nothing about. see tweets below:
The singer further noted that he loves Seyi Shay in spite of the lie.
Flavor posts 'proud daddy' photos for Father's day!
The singer share the pictures on Instagram and we say to all fathers, Happy Father's day!

In an interview with Metro FM, General Pype made it clear that there is no release date for the debut album yet as he wants to take his fans by surprise.
“Basically, we’ve been working. I mean, every time I’ve been on the radio in the past 2-3 years, it has always been like the album is dropping very soon but right now I don’t want to say that, I just want it to happen. So basically we have a whole lot of songs dropping just like ‘Seed’ came out of the blues. A lot of things, a lot videos and audios are coming out and we’re working officially to drop the album, the debut album. The album has been the major focus and getting my team together, we’ve been recruiting, we’ve been grooming ourselves towards the big days. Trust me, I’m coming with my battalion fully armed. My songs are my weapons. Music, my words are what I consider my weapon. Weapon to do good things in the hearts of the youths.” We should be expecting the release of his hot sizzling debut album anytime soon.

Everyone in shock over former Nigerian coach, Stephen Okechukwu Keshi...NFF, Brother, mourns...!
The Nigeria Football Federation has expressed deep shock at the death, in the early hours of Wednesday, of former Super Eagles Captain and Coach, Stephen Okechukwu Keshi.
NFF President Amaju Pinnick was too shocked for words: “This is devastating. We have lost a superhero.” Other NFF executives also had something to say.
Pinnick confirmed he had been in contact with the family and would lead a delegation of some NFF Board and Congress members to Benin City on Thursday.
“The NFF Board will meet and decide on the best way to honour Stephen Keshi. We will be fully involved in the arrangements for the final burial rites.”Pinnick has directed that all centers hosting matches of the Nigeria Professional Football League on Wednesday should observe one –minute silence before kick –off. The NFF has already informed the Confederation of African Football and the world body, FIFA about the passing of the legend.
Keshi won the Africa Cup of Nations as a player and as a Coach. The only person to achieve similar feat was Egyptian Mahmoud El-Gohary, who is also of blessed memory.
The man who made Keshi captain of Nigeria in 1983, Chief Adegboye Onigbinde, told the nff.com on Wednesday morning: “This is too much of a shock. May his soul rest in peace.”
Only eight days ago, the legend had put a call through to the Super Eagles’ camp in Luxembourg, during which he spoke to interim Head Coach Salisu Yusuf and wished him well in the job. The Eagles went on to beat the Red Lions 3-1. Yusuf was one of Keshi’s assistants when he coached Nigeria between November 2011 and June 2015.
His death came only five days short of a year to his last match with the Eagles – a 2-0 defeat of Chad in an Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match in Kaduna.
Nicknamed ‘Big Boss’, Keshi captained Nigeria between 1983 and 1994, during which he won the Africa Cup of Nations gold, silver and bronze, and led the country to qualify for its first FIFA World Cup finals.
He captained the Eagles at that first FIFA World Cup in USA in 1994, months after also leading the team to win the Africa Cup of Nations for Nigeria for the first time on away soil (Tunisia).
Alhaji Sani Ahmed Toro, who was chief executive of Nigeria’s football –governing body (as Secretary General) in those glorious days, reacted: “This is a big loss to Nigeria football. Please accept my condolences.”
Keshi was assistant to Dutchman Johannes Bonfrere as the Super Eagles finished as runners –up in the Africa Cup of Nations in 2000, and then became the first Nigerian to lead the Eagles to Cup of Nations glory at the 2013 finals in South Africa.
NFF General Secretary, Dr. Mohammed Sanusi, said: “There are no praise words too big to describe Stephen Keshi. I still cannot bring myself to speak about him in the past tense.”
In his 44 months in charge of the Super Eagles, Keshi won the Africa Cup of Nations, qualified the team for the FIFA World Cup finals, led the team at the FIFA Confederations Cup and steered the team to the Round of 16 at the FIFA World Cup.
Before that, he had received global applause after leading tiny Togo to reach their first FIFA World Cup, in 2006. He also coached the senior team of Mali.
A colorful playing career took Keshi to ACB FC of Lagos and NNB of Benin (Nigeria), Stade Abidjan and Africa Sports (Cote d’Ivoire), Lokeren, Anderlecht and Molenbeek (Belgium), Strasbourg (France), Jaguar Bay, San Jose and Sacramento Scorpions (USA) and Perlis of Malaysia.
He represented Nigeria at both junior and senior levels, winning 64 senior caps. His first match for the senior team was against Upper Volta (now Burkina Faso) on July 18, 1981 and his last was the FIFA World Cup clash with Greece in the USA on June 30, 1994.
He will be remembered for, among other things, giving home –based players ample opportunity to compete for shirts in the Super Eagles. He was rewarded for this when home –boy Sunday Mba scored two crucial goals as Nigeria won the Cup of Nations in South Africa, including the only goal of the final match against Burkina Faso.
The late Stephen Keshi is survived by four children.
His Brother weighed in also below:
In December 2015, former Nigeria Head Coach Stephen Keshi lost his wife of 33 years after a prolonged battle with cancer, and this morning news of his death was confirmed by his family, with tributes pouring in from media, sports and entertainment personalities. His brother, Ado says the Delta state born coach was destined to die and nothing would have stopped his death.
“It is true, my brother has passed on. He has gone to meet his wife,” said Emma Ado. It’s very painful, but it is what God has destined. Not even 10 million soldiers would have stopped it. But we give glory to God.”
Keshi never recovered from the death of Kate; they were inseparable. He has gone to meet Kate. Since the wife died Keshi has kept on mourning and has been in sorrow. All these time Keshi has been acting, giving the impression that he was fine and man enough to bear the sorrow but the truth actually is that he was down and in pain over the death of his wife.
From companionship to cooking and other domestic matters nobody could be like his wife to him; they were irreplaceable. The man just went to join her”, he added.
RIP Big Boss!
