Iconic singer, King Sunny Ade gave his daughter out in marriage during the traditional wedding ceremony at his house this past weekend in Ondo State. As they say, the young shall grow....

The wedding looks very colorful and we wish formerly little miss Ade and husband a happy married life.

Crystal Awards 2014 for Nigerian gospel acts - Full list of winners!

Everybody that matters in Nigeria’s gospel circle was present at the Muson Centre in Lagos yesterday, as the 2014 edition of The Crystal Awards was staged.

In attendance were notable names like Bolaji Mogaji, Kayode Olusoji, Moji Olusoji, Frank Edwards, Mike Abdul, Monique, Rasqui, Nene Soul Diva, Sabina, DJ Gosporella, Nikki Laoye, etc.

One of the high points of the event, was Olutola Omoniyi of Praiseworld Radio team proposing to to his girlfriend, when he came on stage to present the award for the Best Urban Inspirational Gospel song.

Jermaine Jackson in Nigeria, Spends weekend with Peter 'P-square' Okoye and family

           
  Jermaine Jackson who is in Nigeria to work with pop group P-Square on their 6th studio album, spent his Sunday having a fun outing with Peter Okoye, his wife Lola Okoye, as well as their children Cameron and Aliona.  They posted these few pictures on instagram showing big smiles on everyones faces.....

Peter says it was a great time and memorable family moment.

So much has been said about comedian AY’s star studded Nollywood & Hollywood romantic comedy flick, ‘30 Days in Atlanta.

Stephanie Linus' new movie and reality TV roles

A few days ago, Nollywood superstar actress, Stephanie Linus nee Okereke, had the internet buzzing when she announced that she will be featuring in an American western epic movie –Boonville Redemption.

Below, she speaks on her exciting new movie role, and she briefly talked about her upcoming reality TV show – “Make Me Fabulous“

How do you feel about being back on set after being absent for quite a while?
“I am very excited. It hasn’t been a long absence. I just finished shooting some episodes for my upcoming Reality TV Show – “Make Me Fabulous”. However, this is a Western movie and I’m very glad to be among the cast. It’s something different, it’s a faith based movie and it’s really something I’d love to do.”

What is your role in the movie?
“I play the role of Doris, a lady from the second generation of slave trade in America whose parents came from Nigeria. Doris is no longer a slave and she lives with her Uncle in this community where people are not judged by their race or colour. She is a strong compassionate woman who forms a bond with a young girl, Melinda, who grew up not knowing her father. Doris plays the role of convincing her Uncle to reveal the truth to this young girl about her father’s whereabouts. She also helps take care of Miss Mary, Melinda’s grandmother when she was ill and sheltered a young boy who had no place to stay.”

Where is the movie being shot?
The movie is shot in Los Angeles, USA.

What else brings you to Los Angeles?
Not only am I acting in this movie, I am currently doing post-production for my soon to be released movie, DRY which I’m also very excited about.
